You’ve Got What It Takes

We are all inspired and empowered to meaningfully connect with people around us and support anyone struggling with life. This is what we do as a community. It is part of the fabric of what we stand for at this school, to watch out for each other, to be there in moments of need, to guide and help.

R U OK Day reminds us to be that visible presence in our community so here are some tips!

  1. Ask – Are you OK?
  2. Listen – Let’s start from the beginning I am here!
  3. Encourage action – What can I do to help? I will always be there!
  4. Check In – Let’s check in soon!

Conversation starters are important, follow your instinct, if you know something is not right with someone, why not follow the steps above. Let it be a template to begin the conversation and show that you care.
